November in Pilsen Non-Stop

Hi everyone! My name is Valeria, and together with Sara we will be writing the blog posts for this season. She told you all about October, and now it’s my turn to share my experience from November. I’m 27 years old and from Valencia, and I came to Totem to learn, grow, and challenge myself in new ways. So far, I’m absolutely loving Pilsen and this whole adventure. I can’t wait to see what’s still ahead.

We started the month with something very Czech: ice hockey. We went to the Pilsen stadium with some friends to watch a match. Even though the team lost, the atmosphere was incredible and full of energy. It was my first time watching hockey live, and it was so exciting!

Soon after, we took a quick express trip to Prague, enjoying the city’s beautiful streets and its unique charm. But one of the highlights of the month came in the middle of November, when we had the opportunity to volunteer at the Pilsen Trail, a big race for both children and adults. Sara and I helped by handing out medals, and it was truly heartwarming to see the runners’ happiness as they crossed the finish line. The organizers treated us so kindly, and we even got a delicious meal.

To end the month on a high note, we went on a weekend trip to Munich, where we discovered a new part of Germany and lived many little adventures along the way. It was the perfect way to close November.

Besides all these special moments, we have been continuing with our weekly activities: classes, cooking workshops, and dancing with the women from ADETO. December is just around the corner, and we’re excited to enjoy the Christmas markets and everything this city has to offer during the festive season.

See you next month! xx
