March Blog
March has been a very special month for us here in Pilsen. We have been quite lucky with the weather, as spring has started to arrive and we have enjoyed many sunny days. Thanks to this, we have been able to spend more time outside and see how the city is becoming greener and more lively every day.
Of course, we have continued with our regular activities, such as ADETO dance sessions, baking, and our Spanish and English classes. These activities are always a great way to connect with people and keep learning together.
Recently, we also started a new experience: accompanying a teacher at Gymnázium Luďka Pika to help in Spanish classes. We are really enjoying this opportunity, as it allows us to see how the school system works in the Czech Republic and interact with students in a different environment.
In addition, we have tried some new sports, like barre and rope yoga, which have been both challenging and fun.
As for special moments, at the beginning of the month we spent a weekend at a friend’s cottage — a very typical Czech plan — where we could relax and enjoy nature. We also visited Klatovy and the Pilsen Zoo, where we saw a wide variety of animals.
We are excited to see what spring has in store for us and to continue learning and growing here in Pilsen and at Totem!
