Easter Holidays Back in Spain
Hi everyone! 👋 Today I’m going to talk about my Easter holidays, since I had the chance to go back to Spain for about a week and a half. Honestly, I missed home more than I thought.
After spending a few months with the Czech weather, going back to Spain felt amazing. The first thing I noticed was the weather. It was warm, sunny, and already felt like spring was in full swing. 🌸 After the colder days in Pilsen, I really appreciated the sunshine and the longer days. I immediately wanted to spend as much time outside as possible.
One of the best parts of my holidays was meeting up with my friends again. Since I’ve been living abroad, we hadn’t seen each other in person for a while, so it was really special. We made plans almost every day, catching up, laughing, and talking about everything that had happened during the past few months. It felt like no time had passed at all…
We also went to the beach a couple of times, which was definitely one of my favorite things. The weather was perfect, and it was so relaxing to walk along the coast, feel the sun, and listen to the waves. It was simple but really enjoyable.
Besides spending time with my friends, I also enjoyed being with my family again. After being away, I really appreciated the quiet moments at home. We made relaxed plans like going for walks, having long lunches, and just spending time together.
We also celebrated Easter together, which made the holidays feel even more special. We shared meals, and exchanged some gifts (as always). It wasn’t about doing big things — it was more about being together and enjoying the time as a family.
Another thing I really loved was spending time with my cat again. 🐱 I missed my cat a lot while living in Pilsen, so it was really comforting to be back home and relax together.
Overall, my Easter holidays were exactly what I needed. I enjoyed the sunshine, the beach, my friends, my family, and of course, my cat. It was a great break from my volunteering routine in Pilsen, and I came back feeling refreshed, happy, and ready to continue my experience abroad.
